This record happens to be one of the two very first CD maxi-singles that I owned. I remember that day well in late 1994. I went to Mega Mixx Record Bar in SM Megamall without any particular record in mind. I had just bought my very first CD player then, an Aiwa three-CD changer. As I entered the premises, there was a bargain bin and I nearly jumped for joy when this CD single turned up. I also picked up AB Logic's "The Hitman" with this purchase.
I mean, I've always been a fan of Sunscreem since seeing them for the first time in a music video show. "Love U More" was playing and I was instantly fan-boying over them. In my mind Sunscreem was the band that made indie-rock fans listen to dance music. Or something. Their album "O3" was a complete jam. I could not stop playing it. "Pressure" stood out for me, despite favoring "Love U More" earlier.

"Pressure" went to #1 in the Billboard Club Chart in 1993, the same year that "Love U More" also topped that same chart. The single was everything: Terry Farley and Pete Heller did the Fire Island Mix and the Junior Dub. I am sold on anything that Farley and Heller did. There's so much attitude in their mixes. They have that distinct Farley and Heller sound that is easily identifiable. Also, their kickdrums are the stuff my boombox dreams are made of.
The Wizard Of Oz did a fantastic job with their SXS Mix. It starts off ambient then launches into a spine-tingling bassline that ebbs and flows. Oof, it's too good. This entire single can still be played in 2020 and no one would suspect this was an early '90s record. I guess this is what makes a lot of '90s tunes so playable to this day. They sounded way head of their time.
